This lesson will show you how to play the dominant 7 (9) (13) chord in all 12 keys in 3 steps.
Step 1 – Looks at the awesome tune 'Killer Joe' by Benny Golson and will show you the voicing on the original recording plus show you how to play it with a band.
Step 2 – Shows you how to play this killer voicing with the ‘Killer Joe' bass line for solo piano.
Step 3 – Moves this ‘killer’ voicing - the dominant 7 (9) (13) - with a rootless voicing through all 12 keys moving chromatically, then it will show you a cool way to play this voicing with the root.
